About
I have earned a Master of Arts degree in International Development and a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Cultural Anthropology. I have been involved in several research projects and have expertise and interest in qualitative social science methods and analysis, public health policy, health care, substance use, medical anthropology, and care ethics. I have presented my work at international, national, and regional academic conferences and have received awards and fellowships for my academic achievements.
As a university lecturer, I have five years of experience designing and instructing courses in a variety of contexts to students of diverse backgrounds. I have taught introductory and upper-level courses and have developed considerable skills in instructional design and curriculum development.
Students and colleagues alike know me for my approachability, work ethic, integrity, and thought-provoking discussions.
